Rio is an 11year old Peruvian Paso/Haflinger cross gelding. Current owner has had him since foaling. She says "He's been a great horse." Rio does well in the arena-very quick on turns, neck reining,and stopping on command. He can be put into either a slow or fast trot. He likes to lope fast, but you can slow him down. Rio is easy to handle when working on his feet and he has never been shod due to his strong feet. Rio is desensitized to ropes, having his tail pulled etc. Overall Rio is a pleasure to work with on the ground with very good ground manners
