Gwen's heart continually goes out to horses in need...those who have been abused/neglected.  Over the years she has taken in many horses, rehabbed them and then placed them in good, loving homes.  Rehab has varied in degree from minor "fattening up" to extensive retraining and identifying health issues.  As finances allow, Gwen will take in horses and also act as the voice for the horse in cases where intervention needs to happen.

Whether a kid testing the waters of a passion, or an adult who has always wanted to learn about that mysterious creature called "Horse," Gwen offers lessons at affordable rates.  Lessons are for beginning levels and focus on gaining comfort on/around horses, developing a balance on the horse, and learning basic control/cues to riding a horse.  Currently lessons will need to be at your place/on your horse.

All of us are learning and together we make the horse world a better place.  Gwen offers consultation for trainers, barn owners, beginners, and many more on horse issues.  Although Gwen does not always have the answer, she strives to network with those who do and connect other knowledgable horse people.  Her goal is to prove that no problem is too big or without solution.  

There are two times in your horsey life that can be intimidateing and daunting.  One is when you are looking to buy a horse.  The other is when you are trying to sell a horse.  Gwen will ride a prospective horse, speak with sellers, train/list/show your horse for sale, and whateve else you may need help in as you look for the perfect horse or try to sell a perfect/flawed horse.  Do not let intimidation keep you from reaching your goals.
